Where soul meets science…

Modern Psychology, ancient wisdom, holistic approach

About Me
My Journey

Hi, I’m Dr. Nishtha Gupta. A Psychologist and the founder of soul talk studios, based in Noida, India. My purpose is simple yet profound: to help people heal deeply, reconnect with themselves, and unlock their true potential.

With a Ph.D in Psychology from French Sorbonne University and recognition as a UNESCO Certified Psychologist, my academic journey began with a graduation from Delhi University, followed by a master’s degree. These milestones gave me a strong foundation but my deepest learning has come from working with people, listening to their stories, combined with my own life experiences.

I’ve guided countless individuals through their healing journeys and had the privilege of training employees at organizations like Genpact, Infosys in emotional wellbeing and communication.

Through Soul Talk Studios, my aim is to change the way we view mental health- making it less about heavy jargon and more about living with joy and transformation. Psychology began with wisdom, forgot the soul, and is now remembering it. My work lives in combing wisdom with modern science.

Whether it’s the sessions, content, or conversations, I hope to inspire you to a life that feels true to you. Welcome to Soul Talk Studios- where soul meets science.

The focus in on helping you sustain progress and continue your growth beyond sessions. Closure is discussed collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you.

You don’t need to be in crisis to seek a psychologist. Support is for everyone. You may consider booking a session if you’re feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, low, confused, or simply need a safe space to talk. Sessions can also be helpful for everyday challenges, personal growth, or gaining clarity around thoughts, emotions, or relationships.

Typically, a session lasts for about 40 minutes

The duration varies for each person, as everyone’s needs and goals are different. The process is personalized and planned together based on what you want to work on and your readiness to apply the tools shared. The focus is on making the process effective and focused so you can build long-term self-reliance and clarity.

The first session is a consultation focused on understanding your concerns, goals, and what brings you here. Together, we clarify what you’d like to work on and set a clear direction for the process ahead. This session helps create a strong foundation for our work together and guides how future sessions are planned

Absolutely. Client confidentiality and trust are paramount to our practice, and we adhere to strict ethical guidelines. In addition, the individuals are made to feel respected and comfortable throughout.

After a session, you may notice shifts in your thoughts, emotions, or perspective. Some sessions may leave you feeling lighter, clearer, or motivated, while others may feel more reflective or challenging as deeper patterns come into awareness. This is a natural part of the growth process. Each session is designed to support meaningful change and move you steadily toward your personal goals.

The goal of the process is to support learning and growth without creating dependence. By the end, you’ll have your own set of tools, insights, and coping strategies to continue supporting yourself independently. Sessions are concluded once you feel confident, self-reliant, and no longer in need of ongoing support- while knowing you can always return if needed.

While a psychiatrist prescribes medication as the first line of treatment, Psychologists focus on behavioural and emotional problems through intervention techniques such as therapy, counselling and don’t prescribe medication. You may see a psychiatrist if you have a severe health condition that may require medication such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or are in any such immediate danger. Whereas, you can consult a psychologist if you are experiencing emotional or behavioural problems such as depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship issues that can be addressed through interventions or for growth and effectiveness.

In many cases, working with a psychologist is sufficient, while you may be referred to a psychiatrist if medication is necessary.
